‘There has been an incident where life has come back. When he was young, while returning from the shop, he went down to wash his feet in a nearby pool. I slipped and fell into the water. It was a whirlpool. Went inside it. I didn’t know how to swim at that time.

‘At that time I was thinking that I was dead inside. The thought of not being able to see my mother and father again came up. The fear of death came at such a young age. Later, I stepped on some stone and pushed myself up, and I was able to take a breath.
By that time, someone heard the noise and came running to save him. And if that stone hadn’t been there for me to step on, sometimes I would have gone right into that vortex. Sometimes it seems funny. But it was a moment when I saw death in front of me. It was a very young age. I am studying in third, fourth, or other,’ said Swasika.
