Not only does the industry pick up blockbusters from South India for remakes, but some stars from the south industry have carved a niche for themselves in the industry.

2. Kamal Hassan:

The hype for South Indian superstar Prabhas after the release of Bahubaali was truly incomparable. We don’t think that even the Bollywood actors were able to get such love. From being a regional superstar, Prabhas was almost instantly catapulted to nationwide attention after his titular role in the mega-blockbuster Baahubali and Baahubali 2.
